Q

I'm appearing for bcom final year exams this year. I had cleared the entrance exam for CA in my first year and had given intermediate exams twice. Now i dont want to continue my studies in commerce. Instead i want to study psychology, for which i will have to obtain a graduate degree in the said subject. I am facing conflicts in my decision as it delays all the other things in my future. Please guide me as to what will be the future of this decision. How much will i earn and when?

Hi,

Psychology is a vast subject which research deeply into different aspects of human behaviour, thoughts and experiences. After graduation you can go for an M.A. or M.Sc in Psychology, Social work or Counseling. But post graduate courses in psychology are offered only to students who have graduated with psychology.

You are not eligible to pursue post graduation courses in psychology because you are from commerce background had not have a psychology as a subject.

We suggest you to complete your B.com first, B.Com degree provide a wide range of managerial skills in the fields of

1. Chartered Accountant
2. Commercial lawyer
3. Bank/branch manager
4. Working for the reserve bank
5. Stock broker
6. Mortgage broker
7. Maths/accounting/ economics/ business teacher/lecturer
8. Chartered financial analyst
9. Policy analyst
10. Minister of finance/commerce
11. Tax auditor

To know about commerce click here.

As you mentioned you have cleared entrance exam of CA, it would be better to continue your studies with CA if you interested in Accounting.

You can also opt for MBA degree, MBA is professional course which helps in building the analytical skills and a solid foundation in the principles of management. MBA offers various specialisations like Finance, Marketing & Sales, Human Resource Management, operations, Information Technology, etc. You can choose any of the field of your choice to continue with MBA.

You can compare career as per your requirement in any courses area by clicking here or visit your website htcampus.com to explore various courses apart from commerce field.

Good luck!!!
