If you want to join AirForce, Indian Navy etc., you have two options. Join in the capacity of an Engineer (which you are pursuing right now) or appear for public service exams like UPSC.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is the central organisations conducts competitive exams for government services under arrangements with the Ministry of Defence for entry to certain Defence Services, through the National Defence Academy, Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and the Officers Training Academy. Civil Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination and Naval Academy Examination are the examinations conducted by the UPSC.
