no aisa mat karo no. to kuch% increase honge but year drop karke frustration bahut zyada ho jayega....plz tell me hv u got rank in any entrance...

don't get so tensed ....dear...12th % ab bahut kam places par use hoti hai...actually meine bhi drop kiya tha bt it was a horrible experience so jo bhi college mil rha ho usme apni studies ko continue karo...after all placements ke time par tumhari college mein performance dekhi jaayegi ...12th ki nahi...

Ya...bt itne kam % me na hi mujhe koi accha collage mil sakta h or na hi pasand ki branch...right???

nhi aajkal 12th ki % ka koi use nhi hai .....12th ki % tab use hoti hai jb hum direct admission lete hai kisi college mein ......bt if agar tumhari rank hai kisi entrance exam to 12th ki % ka koi use nhi hai ...ok ....

Yes it is true that with 52%, you will not be eligible to appear for any engineering entrance exam

Having said that we really don’t know if re-appearing for Class XII Board exam is a brilliant idea or not. See, if it is only Engineering that you want to do, then maybe it is worth a risk. But what if you are not able to score as well next year too? Then you would have lost one complete year all for nothing.

So what you ultimately need to decide is do you think that next year will be a game changer in your career? And are you willing to slog it out ruthlessly and get a good percentage in your Board exams? Then go for it. Alternatively, if you feel that your 2012 Board exams went off well and you deserve better marks than what you have got, then you can send your papers for a re-evaluation. Maybe your marks will increase and you can take admission this year itself!

Otherwise, you can appear for Board Exams again next year, but take an interim admission to college this year, maybe B.Sc (honours) course?? Once you do that you can apply for Lateral Admission to B.Tech (direct entry to 2nd year) next year. That way, you don’t lose out of a year and yet can try for better marks next year (assuming that you don’t have to attend regular classes for Class XII).
Whatever you decide, please weigh your advantages and disadvantages.

hi pratibha if u have got good rank in any entrance exam well and good , if not than u can also apply for improvement instead of reappearing in 12th , choose the subject in which u have got less marks and u think u can improve ur marks on those subjects.

i'm from meerut ,up... well abt improvement is jst like the boards bt in ths if u get less marks thn ur prev. boards thn no change occurs in the marksheet and if u get more marks the new marks are entered in tht ....the forms will b available in august....it's a Rs 20 form u cn get it from ur school ....

and where r u from pratibha...

also it is optional at the time of boards if u don't find it necessary to appear in exam thn also there will b no prblm.... max. u can fill improvement for 3 subjects

repeatation dsnt mean a loss of year take it as ur part of growth,do well keep in touch wit 11 & 12 basics in maths physcs n chem,appear fr entrance exams wit sound basics of subject & tht gonna make u to pursue ur graduation in esteemed clg,n nvr repeat the mistakes but learn frm them,,,,hav a good life

Pratibha, reapeating the same year again will have a bad impact on your further life later. At the time of personal interview they surely ask you why u r one yr. down? The reasons for the same? And many such typical questions. At last it depends upon you. All the best!!!

if u want admission in engineering collage so this is good way for your future. ur marks is not well but no prob u got admission in good pvt. collages. if u hv any prob for select collages so u ask me.I AM CAREER GUIDER **********3

Seriously ye to chat box ban gaya hai. Maine to admission le liya hai :):) :) :) in IILM , Greater Noida. Pratibha dnt get sad, MTU ka criteria 50 % PCM hai for B.Tech admission. Maine IILM me admission liya hai jisme scholarship bhi hai for gals students. My sister is studying in the same college and papa is happy wid d environment of college. tum is number pe call karke enquiry karlo **********2 shayad kuch baat ban jaye :) :) :) All d best :):):)
