Besides, what will be my worth if i pass the 3 levels but do not gain any work experience. I am also pursuing C.A. from ICAI, India. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanking you.

Hello student,

Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is regarded as key certification for investment professionals, especially in the areas of research and portfolio management.

The CFA designation is given to investment professionals who have successfully completed the requirements set by the globally recognized CFA Institute.

To be eligible for the CFA designation, candidates must:

• You should have at least three years of professional investment experience.
• You should pass three rigorous six-hour exams over at least three years and
• Commit to abiding by CFA Institute's Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.

After completing CFA, from USA, you can earn a six-figure salary with seniority. They have placement opportunities in domains like Corporate Finance & Control, International Finance & Risk Management, Investment Management, Investment Banking and Financial Services and Information Technology.

The CFA from USA is more internationally recognized and has it own eligibility criteria as defined by the USA standards of 16 years of study up to bachelors. However, the Indian CFA is also a good programme and is acceptable to companies in India. The basis of choosing on where you want to do the CFA should be your ability to handle course, the fees required and your career aspirations.
