Since, you are interested in Economics; you can opt for Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Hons). Economics is the social science that analyzes the production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. Economics (Hons.) covers study of principles of economics theory, micro and macro economics, comparative economics systems, money and banking systems.

As a graduate in Economics you can aspire to many entry-level jobs in Banking, Finance, Insurance, Stock Markets, Sales and Marketing as well as corporations like consulting firms or government departments and you can also work as Economist.

You can also take up teaching as a career. But for this it is advisable to finish a Masters Course and clear NET exam in order to get into colleges, universities and professional institutions as lectures.

You can also opt for non-profit establishments like NGOs and Economic consulting etc. you can even attend UPSC entrance exams, IAF account exams and Combined Defence Services exam and so on for government jobs.
