Hi,

The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) is a three-step examination for medical licensure in the United States and is sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) and the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME). There are Step 1, Step 2 CK, or Step 2 CS and Step 3 to apply for USMLE.

There are only a limited number of seats available for each testing date and seats often fill up quickly so you may apply for a testing date as soon as possible.

In 2011, there were over 25,000 residency positions filled by 4,200 IMGs. There were over 10,000 IMG applicant, so the percentage got into residency was a little over 42%.

You can get detailed information for your queries by visiting official website of United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE).

Good luck!!!
