Statistics is the science of applying mathematical principles to gather, analyse and present numerical data in a usable manner. One has very bright chances as a statistician.One can do Msc after their graduation.They can also take the ISS and IES exams. They can go in for Actuarial sciences as well. They can go into Life Insurance Companies, Banks and many more software companies as the combo of stats/numbers and computers is beneficial .

Pay Off

Starters in the private sector can expect to get anything between R6 lakh  to R7 lakh per annum. The starting salaries in the government (ISS) is R50,000 per month plus incentives .
