Geology is the study of the earth, its processes, materials, history, structure and effects on organisms inhabited on earth. It includes geophysics, atmospheric science, oceanography, hydrogeology, palaeontology, crystallography, geostatistics, etc. You can work with the Geological Survey of India, groundwater authorities, mining departments, mining companies, oil and exploration companies, pollution control boards and various research organisations.
