The College of Fisheries was under the Faculty of Fisheries of the Kerala Agricultural University. This is the third Fisheries College in the country. The four year bachelors degree programme in fisheries leading to B.F.Sc. degree was started with the aim of producing the highly required, professionally and technically qualified manpower in fisheries to cater to the needs of fast developing fisheries sector of the State and other parts of the Country.
