Course details

The department offers Master of Science in Computer Science course. It's a two years course.
Admission Criteria:

Candidates shall be required to possess First class Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Electronics with not less than 60% marks or an equivalent degree recognized by the University of Kerala. There will be a entrance test of two hours and has two parts. The first part is objective type consisting of 50 multiple choice questions to be answered in 1 hour and the second part consist of 15 short answer questions, out of which, 10 are to be answered in the remaining 1 hour. The questions will be at the level of the qualifying bachelors degree course. Medium of examination is English.

Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics Engineering / Electrical Engineering from the University of Kerala or equivalent recognized degree of a recognized University OR First Class Master's degree in Computer Science / Computer Application from the University of Kerala or equivalent recognized Degree by AICTE / UGC / CSIR. Admissions for Open category of students will be made on the basis of valid GATE score.When GATE qualified candidates are not available, admission will be given to Non-GATE candidates on merit. Such admissions will be based on an entrance test conducted by the Department. Ranking will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and the entrance test
