The Computer centre provides central facility for the growth and development of teaching, research, administration, examination, finance and other important cells of the University. Compute Centre has got several versions of Unix and Windows operating system.
Extra - Curricular
The Vishwavidyalaya has three units of National Service Scheme ( NSS ) having a total strength of 300 students from the Vishwavidyalaya Teaching Departments.
Library
The present Library stock comprises 85,000 books, 1650 back volumes of journals and five thousand projects / Ph.D thesis. Presently, it subscribes about more than 200 Indian and 60 foreign journals of various disciplines. In the current financial year 2433 books for UTD, 1380 books for Institute of Technology and 1204 books for Medical Sciences were added in the library existing stock. Library provides reprography faculty to its uses on subsidized rate along with current awareness and SDI services. The library has internet facility and its automation work is on progress using INFLIBNET SOUL package. E-journals consortium through UGC Infonet and INDEST are likely to be started from 2006 academic session.
