Hostel Details: Large Hostel with capacity of 250 students with central garden, mess and a canteen and other facilities.
Laboratory Details:The department hosts eight independent research laboratories. Most of the laboratories are air conditioned and are equipped with the latest instruments.

Library Details:The Institute of Technology library system consists of a main library, and five departmental libraries which collectively support teaching, research and extension programs of the institute. The library, besides having a huge collection of books on engineering, science and technology offers library services through its various divisions.
Extra Curricular Details:IT-BHU enjoy a very vibrant campus life, which besides regular academics is full of extra curricular activities, thus networking them in a social atmosphere. These activities are mainly coordinated by the IT-GYMKHANA, which ensures round the year activities and conducts three major national level festivals namely, TECHNEX (Technical Festival), KASHI-YATRA (Cultural Festival) and SPARDHA (Sports Festival), besides these major festivals many minor festivals are also organized by the gymkhana to ensure the complete personality development of all the students.
