Infrastructure Overview: MDI has its own campus spread over 37 acres in Gurgaon. There are facilities for lawn tennis, badminton and yoga classes. Besides, there are a T.V. lounge, a T.T. room, a gymnasium, a recreation room and a canteen. Facilities like ISD / STD, telephone, fax, and Internet are also available on the campus.
Hostel Details: There is a separate hostel block for the girl students called Oddessy. Students are required to bring their own PC with LAN card. The rooms are provided with a bed, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and the usual fixtures. The students may bring their own mattress, bed linen, toiletries and locks for almirah and hostel rooms though these are also available in the student run Co-operative Store "Prayas”.
Laboratory Details:MDI has a state-of-art computing facility consisting of 698 PC nodes / laptop includes IBM Pentium based servers connected on a high speed Gigabit Ethernet Fibre Optic/UTP based network in a distributed Windows and Linux environment. All these nodes have access to the Internet through a 16 MBPS leased line. Application software like MS Project, Primavera, SPSS, SQL Server, Data Mining software SPSS Clementine etc. is extensively used. Facilities for Scanning & printing include high speed Laser Jet Network printers are available in Computer Centre.
Classrooms Details: All the classrooms of the institute are well furnished with all modern facilities.
Library Details:The Library holds a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, databases, audio-visual materials, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports, case studies, conference proceedings, training manuals, etc. The Library with its modern collection of knowledge resources and innovative information services play an essential role for the academic community in their intellectual pursuits. MDI Library is a hybrid library with the state-of-the-art technological applications. The entire library collection including the CD-ROM/online databases is made available through Institute's network. Users can access the online catalogue and find out the real-time availability of library materials from their own computer terminals. The library offers a range of information services set to the highest professional standards.
Extra Curricular Details:The cultural committee organizes events like quizzes, debates, JAM sessions, skits, treasure hunts, etc. The students of MDI have won several prizes in inter B-School cultural meets. A Golf Course, Lawn Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis, Billiards, Gymnasium, Recreation Room, T.V. Lounge and Canteen are some of the facilities provided on campus. Yoga classes are conducted for the fitness freaks. Facilities like ISD / STD Telephone, Fax, E-mail, Internet and Medical aid are also available on the campus.
