About Us

 
PG campus Gandhinagar is currently an extension campus of the parent institute, National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, is situated in the city of Gandhinagar, in Gujarat. Campus will consist of a jewellery and automobile design centre along with lifestyle accessory design, new media design, toy and game design, strategic design management, transportation and information design centres.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Placement Records

 
It deals with matters concerning professional placement of NID graduates. The prime objective of the Cell is to facilitate its graduating students and industry by providing a meeting ground where the prospective employer companies can identify suitable candidates for placement in their organization. Industry is invited for Pre Placement Talks during which they are required to give a presentation of their company profile, recruitment needs, compensation package and so on. This may be followed by interviews of interested students at a later stage. In addition recruitment needs of the industry is brought to the notice of students through the Placement Cell.

Library Details:The Knowledge Management Center, the new age format of an integrated approach to managing library, research centre, digital services all in a seamlessly integrated manner envisaging a central role in the educational activities at NID. This Center has a focused collection of books, audiovisual materials on design and its related fields.

Extra Curricular Details:International Centre for Indian Crafts (ICIC) Craft traditions in India continue to reflect diverse regional and socio-cultural profiles of the country.
