The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) is a professional media centre which offers a variety of services in training and production. By virtue of its course offerings and enrolments, XIC ranks among the biggest non-government media centres in Asia.

Infrastructure Overview: Institute have good infrastructure & teaching facilities with fully equipped classrooms, computer lab, sound studio etc.

Laboratory Details:The sound studio provides post-production facilities for designing sound effects for film and video. The Sound studio serves the recording needs of religious groups, regional and folk music producers, educators, activists and media professionals. The Editing system available is the Final Cut Pro - Version 4.5. Facilities to capture, edit and produce your video film like a pro.

Classrooms Details: Institute have minitheatre, conferences, & halls fully air conditioned.

Library Details:Institute's library is maintained specifically to compliment the media programmes offered by XIC. It is also open to students of media Institutes and media researchers.
