Sir, I want to know about the entrance examination details and for being admitted in B.SC (HONS) and Also I Want to know about the minimum percentage in class XII Board Exams to be able to be admitted in this college. Besides these, i want to know about the Cut -off for a General Category Candidate Applying for BSC(HONS) in Chemistry.

    Dear Student,

    As per the official website of the Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi, the college offers B. Sc. (Hons) Chemistry Course.

    Fees for B. Sc. (Hons) Chemistry:- 12470

    Delhi University B.Sc (H) Cut off 2016:-

    • Opening Cut-off (First List):- 96
    • Closing Cut-off:- 93

    Eligibility Criteria:-

    • Students must have qualified their class 12th exam conducted by CBSE or any equivalent exam conducted by a recognized board.
    • Students must have passed the qualifying exam with PCM/PCB subjects and with a minimum required score, which is 55% in aggregate of three subjects.
    • They should also have scored a minimum of 50% marks in English as a compulsory language paper. Please note that this condition and a few other subject-specific conditions may or may not be applicable in the case of all subjects.
    • There is no age bar or gap year bar to apply for Delhi University B.Sc (H) admission.

    Admission Process:-

    1. For all students who want to seek Delhi University B.Sc (H) admission, DU considers their marks secured in the qualifying exam, which is the 12th class exam from a recognized board. However, in a few cases like for B.Sc (H) Nursing programme, the university may conduct an entrance test for selecting candidates.
    2. If you meet the university cut-offs of many colleges, you can choose the best one for Delhi University B.Sc (H) admission. You will need to contact the respective college and present the following essential documents per the college requirements:
    • your 12th class marks sheet in the original.
    • Your 12th class certificate in original (provisional certificate can be given, for which you will have to submit the original before joining classes and by the date stated by your college).
    • Your 10th class mark sheet and a certificate in original.
    • Recent character certificate.
    • 2 self-attested, passport-size photographs (or more per the college requirements).
    • Certificate of category and migration certificate, if applicable.

          3.  Your original documents will be verified at the college before giving you admission in a course for which you are eligible. At that moment, you will also have to pay the requisite course fee and complete other admission formalities.
