Having already launched a scholarship programme for engineering students in the state of Maharashtra, Goa and Gujarat, Siemens India is extending its scholarships to first-year engineering students in over 100 government engineering colleges across the country.
Under this initiative, the company will provide financial support to students who lack the economic means to pursue education – tuition fees, allowances for books, stationery and related expenses.
Sunil Mathur, Chief Executive Officer, Siemens India, says, “The objective of the scholarship programme is to contribute to the development of an Industry-ready workforce.”
The scholarships are aimed at supporting candidates to pursue their education and launch a sustainable career in engineering, R&D or manufacturing. These students will be supported with the scholarship throughout the four years of graduation.
