    Hi,

Environmental journalism developed as a full-fledged field within journalism. A degree/diploma in science/environmental science and a course in journalism or science communication from a good institute would be a good option. Number of colleges offering diplomas and degrees in journalism/photography, few offer a full-time course in environmental journalism such as

Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) – Optional module called Science and Environment Journalism
    • International Institute of Journalism & Mass Communication (IIJMC) – Module in semester III
    • Centre for Science and Environment (CSE) – Certificate Course on the policies and practices of environmental management in India

After completing these courses you can work as wildlife photography journalist, wildlife journalist, wildlife scientist, forester, etc.

    Good luck!!!
