    Dear Student,

Mass Communication is an upcoming course and attracts many students. There are various colleges which conduct entrance examination for the enrollment of students. The examination will test your English skill, creative/written skill and knowledge on current affairs. It is advisable to get aware of all the current happenings around you nationally and internationally. Read a lot of books and newspaper to enhance your vocabulary.

    All the best !

Hi Kishtij, there is no particular exam of mass communication, every university has its different entrance exam followed by a group discussion and personal interview. The topics there are generic things and current affairs. Also, media field is very vast. There is journalism, advertising, film-making, public relations, event management, radio. My brother studies bachelor is mass communication and journalism in UTM Shillong which is the sister college of UPES. The lecturers are very nice there and also the placement cell is very active. The college has got good infrastructure and hostel facilities as well. Check its website for details.

Hi, Most of the leading institutes be it XIC or Delhi School of Communication (DSC) or even Jamia have their own written tests and then there are personality interviews. Make sure that you fill the forms for all the above so that it gives you better choices and options. Cheers!
