I want to know about the Rules of the examination system (six semester)

The brief description of the problem:- Any student got back paper in one subject in 4th semester and passed 5th semester with every subject above 50 percent marks and unfortunately will not be able to attend six-semester exam in the continuation and ready to attend exam just next time. please tell me what to do.

    Dear Student,

    Passing/Promotion criteria during semesters:

    FIRST SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the First Semester Examination, students will be placed in one of the following two categories:

    a. Passed: The student must obtain at least 33% separately in Theory and Practical of each subject including the marks of internal assessment and tutorial assignment as well as 33% in the AECC/SEC (section 10.3.1), will be admitted to the 2nd semester.

    b. Promoted: Those students who do not fulfill the above criteria of Passed will be promoted provisionally to the 2nd semester. He/she will have to pass the carry over paper compulsorily in the appropriate subsequent semester examination as and when it is conducted.

    SECOND SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the Second Semester Examination, students will be placed in one of the following categories:

    a. Passed: Students who have clearly passed the second semester as per Section 10.3.1 separately in theory and practical in each of the subjects and also in the AECC papers opted by him/her, will be admitted to the 3rd semester.

    b. Promoted: Students who have failed in one subject and have obtained minimum 27% aggregate marks of the 1st and 2nd semester in that subject or have failed / failed to appear in the AECC examination will be provisionally promoted to the 3rd semester but will have to clearly pass the carry over papers / AECC Examinations in the next appropriate subsequent semester as and when the next semester examination is conducted.

    c. Failed: Students who have failed in more than one subject or have obtained less than 27% marks in one subject of the stream thereby not satisfying the criteria of Passed will be declared failed.

    THIRD SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the Third Semester Examination, the students will be placed under following two categories:

    a. Passed: Students who have passed as per Section 10.3.1 separately in theory and practical in each of the subjects and also in the SEC papers opted by him/her, will be admitted to the 4TH semester.

    b. Promoted: Those students who do not fulfill the above criteria of Passed will be promoted provisionally to the 4th semester. He/she will have to pass the carry over paper compulsorily in the appropriate subsequent semester examination as and when it is conducted.

    FOURTH SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the Fourth Semester Examination, the students will be placed under any of the following two categories:

    a. Passed: Students who have clearly passed the second semester as per Section 10.3.1 separately in theory and practical in each of the subjects and also in the SEC papers opted by him/her, will be admitted to the 5th semester.

    b. Promoted: there will be the following two categories:

    1. Students who have failed in one subject and have obtained minimum 27% aggregate marks of the 3rd and 4th semester in that subject or have failed / failed to appear in the SEC examination will be provisionally promoted to the 3rd semester but will have to clearly pass the carry over papers / SEC Examinations in the next appropriate subsequent semester as and when the next semester examination is conducted.

    2. Students who have either passed or been promoted in the third semester and fourth semester but have yet to clear the carry over papers of the first and second semester will be provisionally allowed to take admission in the fifth semester as per section 10.3.2.

    d. Failed: Students who have failed in more than one subject or have obtained less than 27% marks in one subject of the stream thereby not satisfying the criteria of Passed will be declared failed.

    FIFTH SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the Fifth Semester Examination, the students will be placed under any of the following two categories:

    a. Passed: Students who have passed as per Section 10.3.1 separately in theory and practical in each of the subjects and also in the SEC papers opted by him/her, will be admitted to the 6TH semester.

    b. Promoted: Those students who do not fulfill the above criteria of Passed will be promoted provisionally to the 6th semester. He/she will have to pass the carry over paper compulsorily in the appropriate subsequent semester examination as and when it is conducted.

    SIXTH SEMESTER COURSE:-

    After the declaration of results of the Sixth Semester Examination, the students will be placed under any of the following two categories:

    a. Passed: Students who have clearly passed I to VI semesters as per Section 10.3.2 separately in theory and practical in each of the subjects and also in the SEC papers opted by him/her, will be qualified graduates of the college.

    b. Failed: Students who have failed in more than one subject or have obtained less than 27% marks in one subject of the stream thereby not satisfying the criteria of Passed will be declared failed.

    10.3.1 Minimum Passing Percentage: The student must obtain at least 33% separately in Theory and Practical of each subject including the marks of internal assessment and tutorial assignment as well as 33% in the AECC/SEC.

    10.3.2. Students who have either passed or been promoted in the third semester and fourth semester but have yet to clear the carry over papers of the first and second semester will be provisionally allowed to take admission in the fifth semester. However, they will have to clear the carry over papers of previous semesters for the award of degree failing which they will have to appear in these carryover papers as Ex- Students as and when these papers are conducted in the appropriate semester.
