The following are the benefits of doing an MBA from a premiere institute for a fresher:

    Good Package
    Good career opportunities
    Networking
    Knowledge Acquisition
    Perspective about the business world.

I did my MBA from Welingkar. Before you take up any tests, research on the colleges that you are interested in. Concentrate on institutes that offer good exposure.

Never go for MBA or any post grad with 0 work experience...u will not have any awareness about whats going in the market and u might not completely utilize your potential in right direction....take a break....take 2-3 years of exp and then decide..whether u need it or not... enjoy...!!!!!

    Hi Mahesh,

Most students ask this question quite often on HTCampus. And, hence, we conducted an interview with the co-founder of India’s no- 1 MBA coaching centre Career Launcher Mr. Gautam Puri. Let’s have a look what’s his views on this topic-

“In the Indian context, the best time to pursue an MBA is immediately after graduation. The reason is very simple; the early you do an MBA, the faster your career will grow. Secondly, if you work for two to three year before MBA, yes, you will get some weightage when you go for the MBA. But unfortunately, most of the companies will not give you full weightage. For instance, if you worked for three years, you will probability get weightage for one year experience. So, in a way, since, you are not getting the full weightage of your work experience, you might as well do it earlier. So, in my point of view, you should prepare for the entrance exam for the MBA when you are in final year of your Bachelor’s program. And, opt for the MBA right after your graduation.”

However, the decision of pursuing MBA right after graduation or after getting some experience depends on your own preferences now.

    Thanks!!
