AIEED 2018 Overview

AIEEED exam is conducted in 2 phases in both online and offline modes by Arch Academy of Design. Candidates who have either passed or studying in 12th class can apply for the exam to get admission in various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in designing. The best part about AIEED 2018 exam will be that candidates will be allowed to take the exam from their home or internet cafe at the given slot.

Phase I of AIEED 2018 exam that is General Ability Test (GAT) will be held between December-January 2018 while the Creative Ability Test (CAT) will be organised on any two consecutive Saturday's after GAT exam. GAT is a compulsory exam for all candidates while CAT is required only for the candidates who want to get admission in UG course.

AIEED 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for Under Graduate level programs in Design:

  • Candidates who have appeared for or cleared 10 + 2 (CBSE / ICSE / IB / State Board / NIOS or equivalent as per UGC guidelines)
  • Candidates who have either appeared for or have cleared Class 12th exam can appear for AIEED 2018.
  • Candidate should be of or above 16 years of age, as per Pearson-Edexcel norms applied on all International Undergraduate courses
  • Candidates who have a valid NATA score or AIEEE rank card don't need to take AIEED 2018 exam.
  • 10+1 students can also apply & those qualifying in AIEED 2013-14 this year are eligible for direct admission to next years’ Academic Session (2014-15's) through final counseling/ Interview (the last stage of the admission process)

Eligibility for Post Graduation level programs in Design:

  • Candidates who have appeared for the final year Exam of their Bachelor's Degree or have completed Graduation in any stream

Application Process

Arch Academy of Design will release the AIEED 2018 application form on its official website in the month of November 2017. Interested candidates can fill the application form for AIEED 2018 either through online or offline mode. Candidates are advised to go through the guidelines thoroughly before filling up the application form to ensure that they don’t end up making any mistake.

Application fees detail

To apply for AIEED exam 2018 candidates need to pay an application fee of INR 1500. Candidates need to pay the amount at the time of registration. Payment can be made both in online as well as offline mode.

AIEED Exam Pattern

  • Exams can be taken in the online format or offline format.
  • The question papers will be multilingual - Hindi & English.
  • The online Exam will need to be answered in English only (although the questions can be read in Hindi)
  • The offline Exam can be answered in either language.
  • The exam will be of 200 marks.
  • There would be around 45-50 questions in AIEED 2018 exam.
  • Candidates will get around three and half hours to solve the questions
