Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is a computer based online test for admission to Integrated First Degree Programmes in BITS (Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences), Pilani Campuses in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. It is conducted by BITS, Pilani.
First Degree programmes of BITS except B.Pharm (Hons): Students should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
For admission to B.Pharm (Hons.): Students should have passed the 10+2 from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency in English. However students with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.
Admission to all the programmes is subject to the conditions given below-
The students should have secured a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology in 10+2 examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.
Application & Examination fees
Male candidates will have to pay Rs 2090/- whereas female candidates will remit Rs 1590/- for the same.

Process for Applying for admission:
Candidates will have to apply for admission to BITS by mentioning 10+2 marks and preferences to different degree programmes offered.
BITSAT May 2014 Exam Analysis
In BITSAT 2014, there were 40 questions of 3 marks each in chemistry section. Fortunately, the level of the chemistry questions of the BITSAT exam is almost same as those asked in board exams and also the syllabus does not vary much from that of CBSE.
BITSAT May 2015 Exam Pattern
It is a 3 hour test to be taken by candidates on computers at dedicated centres in different cities across India and also at the Dubai campus. It has objective type questions which will have Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency and Logical reasoning, and Mathematics parts. The questions are selected at random from a large question bank. Different candidates will get different question sets, but of same difficulty level and content.
The BITSAT-2015 test will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus for 11th and 12th class. Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents.
