COMEDK Medicine 2015 Overview

COMEDK stands for "Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” and was formed by the Karnataka Private Medical & Dental Colleges Association and the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association in a bid to offer an effective, fair and objective testing procedure to determine merit of students seeking admissions to the Member Institutions.
COMEDK is responsible for organising a Common Entrance Test for the academic year 2014-2015, for students aspiring to pursue under graduate courses in Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges in Karnataka in member institutions of the Consortium (Medical, Dental and Engineering Colleges).
COMEDK Medicine 2015 Eligibility Criteria
MBBS / BDS:
Students must have passed 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination, recognized by State / Central Government with minimum 50% of marks taken together in PCB (40% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State). The last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) with English as a compulsory subject.
Students must score minimum 50% marks (40 % in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in aggregate in PCB in Common Entrance Test of COMEDK UGET-2014
Students shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the MBBS/BDS course.
COMEDK Medicine 2015 Exam Syllabus
COMEDK Medicine UGET-2014 will have the following papers:
There will be Physics and Chemistry as one paper for two hours duration and Biology and English as another paper for two hour duration in COMEDK UGET Medical 2014 Exam. There will be 240 questions (multiple choice types) in 4 sections based on the syllabus of 10+2. Each question will carry 1 mark. There is no negative mark for wrong answer. No marks will be awarded for multiple marking of responses.
Both (B.E & MBBS/BDS)
You need to mark your answers on the OMR Answer Sheet. You must use either black or blue ballpoint pen in the exam. Use of pencils/erasers/whiteners etc is not permitted in the exam.
