Knowledge of GMAT Exam Pattern and Structure
Candidates preparing for GMAT examination must have a full-fledged knowledge about the exam pattern and type of questions they are going to be asked in the exam. They must be aware of the GMAT exam format along with the exam structure and syllabus. Candidates should also know the number of questions, scoring scheme and the exam duration as well.
Take on the Quantitative Section First

Move to Verbal Section Afterwards
Once the candidate is done with the quantitative section, s/he must prepare for the verbal section. Being the largest section in GMAT exam, verbal section is the most scoring section of all. After mastering the verbal section, the candidate should move to the other two sections namely Analytical Writing Assessment and Integrated Reasoning.
Take Online Tests
Candidates should take as many mock tests as they can. Taking online mock tests will not only help the candidate understanding the exam structure and the type of questions but also let the candidate eye on the time limit so that they can solve the actual examination within the stipulated time.
