Tips to Prepare for KMAT

  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension:

     

    The section includes the verbal ability and reading comprehension of the students. This section comprises questions on vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages, choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills, etc.

     

    (Suggestion: One should read magazines, newspapers, articles, etc. for a good command over English language. Learn basics of English grammar. Read as much as you can as it enhances your vocabulary and comprehension abilities.)

     

    Quantitative Ability:

     

    This segment examines matriculation standard of students. This section contains questions derived from high school level Mathematics. The questions cover on ratio & proportion, percentage, interest, time & speed, algebra, geometry, trigonometry and parts of mathematics, quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, standard graphs, charts, etc.

     

    (Suggestion:  One should brush up your basic Mathematics skills by solving as many questions as you can.)

     

    Logical Reasoning:

     

    This section measures how quickly and accurately one can address the problem. It examines the thinking ability of students. This segment consists questions in sets and individual as well based on Verbal Reasoning, analogy, etc.

     

    (Suggestion: One should take as many mock tests as can. Participate in online contests and quizzes)
