What is B.Sc Nursing?

B.Sc in Nursing is an undergraduate course for students who are interested in providing aftercare to patients in healthcare facilities like hospitals, nursing homes, and health centres. It is a specialised course in nursing with the duration of four years. Several private and public academic institutions offer the course on a full-time basis. The course fee may vary from one institution to another, ranging somewhere between INR 1 Lakh and INR 5 lakhs. After pursuing this programme, students can enter the nursing profession. The college campus is a sprawling area with great facilities which are used well by the students as well as staff (when time permits), located in one of the districts of Karnataka, (Dakshina Kannada) close to the border of Kerala.

Good surrounding. Easy access to public transport. Classrooms and labs are good. Library is huge with all kinds of books and study material. Campus crowd is decent and well mannered. Extracurricular activities takes place on a regular basis. About 70% of the students get placed in good companies with good salary packages. Faculties are helpful and approachable. They are highly qualified. They use modern teaching methods.

The infrastructure of the college is very nice. The teaching level here is very good. Teachers of the college are very nice and have good teaching skills. The campus crowd is very supportive, helpful and friendly. A cultural fest is organised by the college. Innovative methods of teaching are used in the college. Amazing opportunities are provided to all the students. Placement cell is active which provides amazing placements with amazing salary packages. The area around the campus is clean. Environment is refreshing. It is located in Kolkata. It is one of the best colleges for nursing.

B.Sc in Nursing Eligibility Criteria

To seek admission in the B.Sc in Nursing course, a candidate must meet the following eligibility criteria:

The candidate should have passed 10+2 in PCB subjects (physics, chemistry, biology) or an equivalent exam from a recognised board.

Many institutions may also require candidates to have achieved a minimum marks percentage in the class 12th exam. However, this may not be the criterion in all the colleges.

Some institutions may also ask candidates to be medically fit for admission in the nursing course.

The candidates will have to appear in the entrance exam of specific institutions in which they want to apply for admission. Most colleges or universities conduct their own nursing entrance exams and consider the meritorious candidates for admission in the B.Sc in Nursing course.
