Question: My dad has a well set business but had worrying health issues,where both these factors led me to take up commerce to do CA although had special liking for the science stream(esp medicine).N

I completed my 10th with icse-95% in Apr12. My dad has a well set business but had worrying health issues,where both these factors led me to take up commerce to do CA although had special liking for the science stream(esp medicine).Now as dady is completely fine,I have the choice to let go this yr and opt for sci next yr.My good performance in commerce average-above 93% & dad's well set busi makes me give a thought to stay back in com.Not comfortable with the present colg.confused.Please advice

Dear student,

What you need to decide is whether, eventually, you will continue with the family business. If yes, then it makes sense to continue with Commerce. You can do an MBA later on and experience the corporate life for sometime before starting your own thing. But if you are sure that Medicine is your calling, then think no further, just prepare for Science and take up medicine as a career.

hi this is jyothi i too faced the same problem as far as i know i advice u to continue commerce itself as u scored better in it and settle in life by enlarging ur fathes business but choose a good clg and a good environment else u cannot achieve succes
