The ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test (IBSAT) is an aptitude test conducted by the Federation of Universities (FedUni) for students seeking admission into various management programs.
IBSAT consists of multiple choice questions and is usually for 2 hours duration. IBSAT introduced an essay which had to be completed in the next half an hour. However IBSAT 2009 had no essay nor any negative marking. IBSAT is based on the GMAT format and tests the applicant's aptitude for quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension. The test is being held in centres all over India. For an exhaustive list, refer to: http://www.ibsat.org/testcenters.asp
Application procedure:
The eligibility criteria for taking IBSAT are:
For colleges that include IBS/ISFS/ISMS/ISHRD: Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline in English medium with at least 50% aggregate marks.
For INC: Graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2+4) in any discipline with at least 40%.
