A candidate must obtain 30% marks in the written test of the concerned programme to be eligible for the interview. SC and ST candidates who conform to the eligibility criteria and appear in the written test will be called for the personal interview.
  • Final selection will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared on the basis of Merit, performance in the written test and personal interview.

 Written Test

To take admission to the university, the aspirants have to attempt the written test as a part of the selection process. There’ll be no written test for B.Tech. as their JEE (Main) score will be considered. The list of selected students is usually available 4-5 day before the date of the written exam. It can be downloaded from the official website of the Institute.

Written Objective Test

Appearance in the written objective test is mandatory for taking admission in the university. Questions in the test would be objective and will be in the format of the MCQs with four possible answers out of which only one will be correct.
