Department of Economics
It was established in 1947 as a part of the erstwhile Women’s Training College and it offers courses such as B.A. Social Science (Hons.), Post-Graduation Diploma in Business Economics (PGDBE), M.A. (Applied Economics), M.Phil. (Economics), Integrated PGDBE-M.A. (Applied Economics)-M.Phil and M.Phil. Integrated with Ph.D.
Department of Management
It was established in 1991 offering a post graduate course in business management. Some of its highlights are that it has no capitation fee, it has a multidisciplinary program and a healthy staff to student ratio. It offers B.B.M., M.B.A. (Business Management)), PG Diploma ( Urban Planning and Management), M.Phil and Ph.D.
Department of Psychology
The department has counseling facilities, psychological testing, researches on consciousness, paper presentations in national and international conferences and paper publications in reputed journals.
Department of Sociology & Political Science 
It was established in 1947 and offers under graduate and post graduate course in sociology & political science.
Department of Adult Continuing Education, Extension & Field Outreach 
It deals with opportunities for self- employment, economic independence, environmental conservation, national integration, healthy living conditions, small family norms, gender equality, social evils and career consciousness, etc.

Faculty of Science, Dayalbagh Educational Institute

The Faculty of Science consists of five departments that impart teaching with an objective of keeping their students updated with the knowledge of modern sciences. It offers under graduate courses such as B.Sc with an intake of 115 seats, B.Sc. Honors in Botany (20 seats), Chemistry (20 seats), Mathematics (20 seats), Physics (20 seats), Computer Science (15 seats) and Zoology (20 seats). It offers post graduate courses such as M.Sc. in Botany(12 seats), Chemistry (12 seats), Computer Science (10 seats), Mathematics/ Mathematics with specialisation in Computer Applications (12 seats), Physics/Physics with specialisation in Electronics/ Computer Science (minimum 3 seats in each course) (12 seats) and Zoology (12 seats): M.Tech. in Computer Science: Full Time (10 seats) and M.Phil. The Faculty of Engineering, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, was founded in 1950 by His Holiness Param Guru Huzur Mehtaji Maharaj as Dayalbagh Engineering College. It is one of the most prominent institutes for engineering in the nation.  The college was established because a need was recognized for trained technical manpower.
It consists of the following two departments:
Department of Electrical Engineering
It imparts education in the field of Electrical Engineering and its applications and deals with Control system, Network and systems, Instrumentation, Power system, Power Electronics, etc. 
Department of Mechanical Engineering

Department of Foundations of Education

Its origin can be traced back to the Women's Training College which was a major institute for the education of teacher’s education in North India. The aim is to instill among the students the qualities of dedication, skills, knowledge and creativity and the significance of professional ethics. It trains the students to evolve with the changing demands of the educational system. It trains its teachers to perform complex tasks including effective teaching, developing a value system in students and administrative responsibilities.

Department of Pedagogical Sciences

The department of Pedagogical Sciences aims to achieve excellence in the field of education. The objective is to produce teachers who are well versed with research and are groomed in teaching skills.

Faculty of Arts, Dayalbagh Educational Institute

The department of Arts consists of Department of Sanskrit, Department of Music, Department of Hindi, Department of Home Science, Department of Music and Department of Sanskrit.

The Department of Sanskrit was established in 1968 in the Women's Training College. They come under the Faculty of Arts of the University. They offer various courses including Post Graduate Degree in ‘Sanskrit and Culture’, Specialization in Grammar at M.A. level, M.Phil. in Sanskrit (in Dual Mode), Ph.D. Degree, Integrated program in Theology (P.G. Diploma, M.A., M. Phil & Ph.D.).

The Department of Music was established in 1950 as a part of Women's Training College. It comes under the Faculty of Arts of the University. Along with graduate courses, they also offer post graduate courses, Ph.D. courses, Post graduate diploma in all streams of Vocal, Sitar and Tabla. 

The Department of Hindi offers various languages courses on Hindi and its History. They also offer a two-semester diploma in Jan Sanchar Evam Patrakarita. They also different courses like Anuwad Vigyan and Braj Bhasa for post-graduation. Their research is focused on Hindi Kavya, Hindi Gadya, Kavya Shastra and Alochana.

The Department of Drawing & Painting was established in 1960 with an Undergraduate program and later became a part of DEI with post graduate programs. It falls under the Faculty of Arts of the University. They offer post-graduation courses, Ph.D., P.G Diploma and integrated M.A and M.Phil. programs. 

The Department of Home Science in Dayalbagh Educational Institute was started in 1981. The department comes under the faculty of Arts. The department offers specialization in Human Development and general M.Sc Home Science in its post-graduation courses. They started their M.Phil. program in 2009. They conduct Research Projects as well.
