More about Delhi Technological University
Delhi Technological University was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and then changed it names too Delhi School of Engineering in 1965 until 2009 when its name was changed to Delhi Technological University. They offer courses in UG, PG and Ph.D. degrees like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D. They offer facilities like Library, Hostels, Health Care, Knowledge Park, Computer Centre and more. They have the following departments:
Department of Applied Chemistry
Areas of interest include Polymer Science & Technology, Material Science and Polymer Composites, Ion-exchange, Electro Chemistry, Chemical Thermodynamics.
Department of Applied Mathematics
Areas of interest include Graph Theory, Information Theory, Numerical Simulation, Number Theory and Combinatorics, Relativistic Cosmological Models, Algebra, Approximation Theory.
Department of Applied Physics

The department has ten state-of-the-art laboratories, viz. Nanobioelectronics Laboratory, Functional Genomics and Molecular Nanoscience Laboratory, Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory, Plant Molecular Biology Laboratory, Computational Biology Laboratory, Biochemistry Laboratory, Immunotherapeutic Laboratory and Genome Informatics Laboratory.
Department of Civil Engineering
Areas of interest include Structural Engineering, Structural Dynamics, Earth Quake Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Experimental Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering and other interdisciplinary areas. The Department is equipped with laboratories related to Structure, Concrete testing, Soil Mechanics, Highway Engineering, Experimental Stress Analysis, Computational Mechanics, Education Technology, Photogrammetric and GIS facilities, Environmental Engineering and Hydraulics laboratories.
Department of Computer Science & Engineering
Areas of interest include design principles, development of system software for operating systems, Database management systems, data mining, computer graphics and networks, software testing, software packages and CASE tools, miniaturizing in Computer technology, audio-video, and image processing, storage and retrieval, data processing, communication and nano-technology, advance computer networks, grid and cluster computing, data compression, natural language processing etc.
