Delhi Technological University Reviews (46)

The area around DTU is backward and has a few security issues at night.
Hostel infrastructure can be better maintained and mess food could have more varieties. Academic faculty could be a little more engaging.
Crowd in DTU is a perfect mixture of all types of students. From the very quiet to exemplary speakers, from the very studious to very laid back, very reserved to very outgoing. There is something for everyone in the University, being from dramatics to technical, dance to oration, social work to tech teams.
The professors are well equipped with technical skills and knowledge however they could improve communication and conveying skills.

The campus is in an area that's not safe at all. Several times I've heard of phones getting snatched from students. People at night drive drunk in that area and you always have to stay alert at all times. College is accessible in the sense, the nearest metro is just about 2.5km away but you have to travel these dangerous roads to reach college.
The hostel accommodation for a start. Even though there are several empty rooms, the college doesn't allow students to apply for hostel, unless their families are living outside NCR. Faculty is great, just that the professors at times make up their mind to not come to class and don't even provide suitable notes to study for exams.
Due to several events and fests hosted by the college, DTU provides a great platform to showcase your skills. Every different co-curricular activities have different societies that you can be a part of. You can learn a lot from the others there and the experience is amazing.
Not that I've personally known people getting great packages, but the stats show students get amazing tech and non-tech placements that the college provides.
Like I said several times, overall the faculty is great but some professors are not showing up at class and not providing suitable study material. The method of teaching is a very old method as most of the professors are old and have not adapted to the new methods. The classes get extremely boring at times and there's no fun in studying in college.

The area around the campus is not very high profile but since the college campus is huge with many hostels inside the campus only, one does not require to go out much. It is well connected by 2 different lines of metro, Rithala Station on Red Line and Badli station on Yellow Line.
Campus crowd is very rich in intellect and quite diverse. The Girl to Boy ratio is low. Many NRIs study here. Cultural Fest and Technical Fest are the best in Town.
Most of the students get placed comfortably at reasonable packages. Many talented students also bag high packages more than 20 lakhs.
The faculty is quite experienced and qualified with our Vice Chancellor Sir who has published more than 200 research papers. Teaching methodologies are a little old and could get better.

It has a campus of 164 acres you might take auto to travel to your classrooms. Excellent classrooms.
Hostelers are the heart of DTU, they are so helpful and cheerful to help everyone. They know the college even better than the person who designed it.
I went to College and was astonished to see that there are so many societies even non tech too. Then I realized this place hasn't got nerds only.
The highest package of last year was 1.27 Cr in Uber San Francisco and lowest was 3.8 lakhs so the placements speaks for itself.
Teaching standards were just what I thought it should have. Although being fresher I don't know much still.

We can find most of the things near the college or inside the college.
Some teachers are good some are not. Hostel needs some work as its not very well maintained.
Some great events are very common. Seniors help a lot. The friends make the competition tough.
This college is famous for good placements as it gives us big opportunities in various companies.
I enjoy some lectures. But some are boring as i don't like the subject or the faculty is not that good.

Campus is located within the city. Also metro facility is good. There are a lot of markets nearby.
There are not many seats in the hostel. Any student who lives in Delhi or is from Delhi category never gets the hostel. Also the hostels are not very good.
There are a lots of people doing something creative whenever you go to canteen. Workshops are held from time to time for different fields and are also very good.
As I have heard and seen the past placement statistics, almost everyone who wants a job gets it. Salary is a bit of issue. For those who have good extracurricular experience get a good job.
The faculty is good but the teaching methods are average.

The greenery all around including a variety of animals.
I don't live in hostel but as my friends tell they have a good experience.
The societies and technical teams make a complete set of extracurricular activities.
Salary packages depend on students' caliber.
The content they teach are good. They are well qualified and experienced.

The East Delhi college of DTU is very close to my home so it is both very time and money saving.
Totally well-ventilated classrooms and are really neat and tidy. A/c rooms.
Activities are still required to be clear. The activities should be initiated without any unnecessary delay.
The Delhi School Of Management, DTU provides 50% assured placement to students. It also provides paid internships.
Teachers are pragmatic and skilful. Their way of teaching is interesting.
