The strengths of the school include flight training for students, variety of aircraft engines, flight simulators, Chetak Helicopter for teaching and demonstration purposes, etc. The students at the school have won a number of awards including Good Sheepherder Award at International Robotics Competition, Beijing, China. A well furnished departmental library is also there. School of Architecture, Hindustan University was established in 1993 with an initial intake of 40 students. The IT Infrastructure includes hardware like Computers with i3 processors & 4 GB RAM, Computers with Pentium dual core, Intel Xeon Servers and Internet & Campus Wi-Fi. Software includes Microsoft Academic Alliance, Oracle Academic Alliance and IBM Rational Rose Enterprise Edition. Kali Linux with Cyber Security Tools, Wireshark, Encase Tool for disk forensics are also available. Also, the department has a Cloud Computing and Virtualization Library. Students from the department have done internships at both national and international levels. Department of Computer Applications

The department has a competent faculty with industry certifications, industry tailored programmes, involvement of faculty in Automation of University Administration and Academics, Center for research focus -Machine Intelligence and Data Analysis Research Centre (MIDARC) and Mobile Application Programming Club. YOKOGAWA (India) Ltd., Bangalore for Process Automation. Intel Intelligent System Lab and Advanced Process Control Lab were introduced in the past three years.
