Jain University is a deemed-to-be-university located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The university that was founded in 1990 as SBMJC has the vision to foster human development through excellence in quality education, research & entrepreneurial development. The university is certified ISO 9001:2008 for quality management by TUV Rheinland and is a member of the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP). The university has collaborated with international universities with an aim to offer study programs that would help students and faculty gain international perspectives in their chosen field of study. Jain University offers innovative undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes in the fields of Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Humanities & Social Sciences, Languages, Management and Sciences. Some of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university are B.Com, BBA, BA, B.Sc., BMS, B.Tech, BCA, M.Com, MCA, M.Sc, MA, MMS, M.Tech, MBA, etc. To be eligible for admission to the programmes offered by the university, the aspirants must have scored minimum marks in the qualifying examinations. Jain University conducts Jain Entrance Test (JET) for the purpose of checking the aptitude of candidates applying for admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university. For admission to Master of Business Application programmes, the university considers valid CAT, XAT, GMAT, MAT, CMAT score. The candidates who do not have a valid score of one these entrance exams will have to take JET followed by group discussion and personal interview.

Candidates applying for admission to research programmes need not appear for the university entrance test if they have already qualified UGC NET or CSIR NET examination. Such students need to appear only for the personal interview conducted by the University for selecting candidates for admission to research programmes. Admissions to M.Tech programmes are based on the GATE/ PG (CET) score and the candidates who do not have a valid GATE/ PG (CET) score can still can admission in M.Tech programmes by appearing for the Jain Entrance Test conducted by the university. Admissions to various programmes offered by the university are done based on the score obtained in the Jain Entrance Test (JET) and performance in Group Discussion/ Personal Interview. Jain University UG Admission

Jain University offers admission to undergraduate programmes in the fields of Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Sciences, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management and Languages.
