Formerly known as the Manav Rachna College of Engineering, the Manav Rachna University is a State Private University. The university that was established in 2004 is a NAAC Accredited ‘A’ Grade Institution. It stands on the 10th position among all private engineering institutes of the country and 29th among all engineering institutes across the country including the IITs and NITs. The university offers undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level programmes in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Law, Management & Humanities and Education.

The admission to almost all the programmes at the Manav Rachna University is done on the basis of marks scored in entrance tests like MRNAT, Uni-GAUGE, JEE Mains and GATE. The candidates applying for Manav Rachna University Admissions 2017 for undergraduate programmes must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in relevant subjects to be eligible for filling the application forms. The candidates applying for postgraduate programmes must have scored minimum 60% marks in relevant subjects from a recognized university. Manav Rachna University offers admissions to various undergraduate programmes in engineering, management & humanities, applied sciences, education and law. The candidates applying for admission to undergraduate programmes must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying examination. The Manav Rachna University offers admissions to Doctor of Philosophy programmes in the fields of management studies, engineering & technology and sciences.
